Kerrville 2050 brand launch and survey

At the State of the City Address on November 2, Mayor Bonnie White and City Manager Mark McDaniel officially launched the brand and logo for the Kerrville 2050 Comprehensive Plan project. Approximately 240 people were in attendance at the Inn of the Hills Conference Center for an overview of the Comprehensive Plan update and the unveiling of the project brand (click on the Kerrville 2050 branding video above). Participants also took a survey that asked them to choose the 5 most important issues from a list of 10 and to rank their choices in order of importance to the future of Kerrville. Nearly 175 surveys were returned, and the top priority was “Properly planning for, designing, constructing and maintaining Kerrville’s infrastructure.” Other high-ranking issues had to do with housing, quality of life, downtown, jobs, tourism and the Guadalupe River. These results and other sources of community input will be used to guide the remainder of the planning process through plan development and adoption.
