Future Land Use Plan and Master Thoroughfare Plans further refined

The Kerrville 2050 Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee met for the seventh time on May 7 to discuss revisions to the Future Land Use Plan and Master Thoroughfare Plan maps. These changes were based on input from the April 19 and 20 Open Houses. Minor amendments to the boundaries of some of the Catalyst Areas were suggested on the Land Use Plan. On the Thoroughfare Plan there were revisions to potential street connections, including both realignments and deletions. The Committee voted on each of the proposed changes and the result of this polling will be reflected in the final draft maps, which will be reviewed again at the Steering Committee meeting on May 23. That meeting which will focus primarily on the draft Implementation Strategy.
